Pictures with Santa!!
Today we took the babies to get their picture with Santa. At first they both looked so confused and had blank stares on their faces. We couldn't get them to smile, but as soon as they looked around and got comfortable with where they were they did awesome. Each of the them even managed to grab Santa's beard. (it was so funny)

Thanksgiving & Cabin Weekend
Ok so I am not the best at keeping this updated, but I never said I was perfect :) Life has been very busy as I am sure many of you can relate. To catch you up on the important stuff Brayden is rolling over, talking and starting to scoot! He is all over the place! Well not really, but he no longer stays where we lay him. :) This Thanksgiving we went to Erics family dinner first. Eric and I made his grandmothers chicken and noodles! We made noodles from scratch :) The food there was delicious and I ate a lot! We then went to my family gathering where there was more wonderful food and dessert. Brayden did a great job the whole day and didnt get fussy. He is such an easy going baby. I am blessed.
The weekend after Thanksgiving we went up to my parents cabin. The weather was beautiful. Temperature was in the 40's during the day, which was a little cold but nice at the same time. I love the cabin so much because we have quality family time. We play games, talk, and just relax. We played spades with Brad and Holli. (Our new favorite game) and the babies hung out with grandma and grandpa and slept. Holli and I of course murdered the boys in spades and in the Notre Dame football toss my grandparents bought us! :) We also decided to dress the babies up in their matching sweaters and hats that Holli and I picked up for them. They looked to cute. I know they might make fun of us when they are older for dressing them like this, but I dont care because I love it.

Indiana Trip
We are back! Brayden and I went to Indiana with my mom to visit her family. Eric was able to come for the first weekend we were there and then had to get back to work and school. Brayden experienced his second plane ride in 4 months. Lucky kid!!! :) He does so well in the airplanes, I am truly blessed. (He must take after his dad once again :) ) The weather was so cold the entire time we were there. It was in the 30's and didnt get any warmer than the 50's. So lets just say we stayed inside a lot. One of the things I wanted to make sure we did was visit Notre Dame. Brayden just needed to see the campus and get a jersey! Of course it was the coldest the day we went and rainy. But that didnt stop us. We would just run out of the car get our picture and run back. During this trip I really was able to see how blessed I was with an easy going baby. We were in and out and doing things all day. Right when he fell asleep in the car we were ready to get out. He was always all smiles and was very enjoyable to be around. He even started talking! He made some cooing noises before but not like this. My cousin Carrie would talk to him and he would literally talk back. (all noises of course!! :) ) Now he doesnt stop. I love it!

Braydens 1st Halloween.....
We went to my parents for dinner instead of going out this year. We dressed Brayden and Anna up while they were both in good moods and got some pictures. Brayden was a bumblebee and Anna was a ladybug. I am sure you could tell from the pictures :) Right when pictures were over they wanted out of the costumes!!! (they actually decided when the pictures were done :))
Brayden's Entrance
Eric and I were so excited when we found out I was pregnant. (Even though it took a couple of tests to convince him!! :)) The entire pregnancy went very well minus the morning sickness that lasted for 14 weeks and preterm labor at 32 weeks. :) Our little boy was growing perfectly inside of me and that is all we cared about. My water broke at 5 in the morning on July 16. I was 37 weeks and 3 days pregnant. My precious baby, Brayden Reece, was born around 4 in the afternoon after 3 long hours of pushing and the doctor telling me I needed to start thinking about a c-section. (Hopefully the next one will be a little easier :)) He weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces and was 19 3/4 inches long.
Hellooo!!!
Welcome to our family's site!! After seeing friends' and families' blogs and realizing it is an excellent way to keep in touch, I have decided to start one! I feel like there is so much to catch everyone up on that I will post a couple posts today. :)
